Stratos is a structural geologist with a strong interest on understanding the evolution and the three-dimensional structure of faults and their significance in exploration of natural resources and earthquake behaviour. Stratos completed a PhD in 2016 on the 3D structure of normal fault zones in Ptolemais Basin, NW Greece, with the Fault Analysis Group in UCD. He is currently working on the stratigraphic and structural evolution of the sedimentary basins offshore Ireland. From 2009 until now, he has been participating in several projects that cover applied research and seismic hazards.
